Thyroid Balancing Coconut Tea

Boost your energy, enhance feelings of calm, and balance your thyroid and hormones with this soothing coconut tea.

It’s a great replacement for coffee or caffeinated drinks which tend to wreak havoc on your hormones, leading to imbalance. Holy basil naturally balances hormones and maintains healthy cortisol levels, while the fatty acids in coconut milk support the creation, processing, and elimination of estrogen and progesterone.

 

Ingredients

  • 3-4 leaves of holy basil
  • 1/4 cup of unsweetened coconut milk
  • 1 cup boiled water
  • A dash of ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

 

Directions

  1. Boil a cup of water and add the holy basil. Steep for 8 minutes.
  2. Add the coconut milk and vanilla.
  3. Sprinkle with ground cinnamon
