Easy Baked Salmon

  • 4 Salmon fillets (~6oz each)
  • 1 Lemon
  • Garlic (minced)(2 tsp)
  • Italian seasoning (1 tsp)
  • Salt (1⁄2 tsp)
  • Black pepper (cracked or ground)(1⁄4 tsp)

Preheat the oven to 400°F. Grease a baking pan with a drizzle of olive oil, then add the salmon fillets and season with salt and pepper. In a small mixing bowl, add 2 TBS of olive oil, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and juice from half the lemon then stir to combine. Spoon the mixture over the top and sides of the salmon so there are no dry spots. Bake in the oven for 12-15 minutes until salmon is opaque and flaky when pulled apart with a fork.
