Her professional background includes serving as a Clinical Services Supervisor, where she oversaw staff and contributed to medical software development, as well as a Charge Nurse, providing direct patient care and coordinating with primary care providers. She is also the President of LatMed International, organizing medical teams for humanitarian setups in Latin American countries.

Jana holds a Master of Science in Nursing/Family Nurse Practitioner from South University and is certified in Infection Prevention and Control. She is an AANP Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with an active license in 46 states and a member of APIC and the American Holistic Nurses Association. Jana is board certified as a Naturopath and holds a traditional Naturopath degree.
