Living Low-Tox with Our Favorite Products

natural-products

By Carli Webb, Health Coach Manager

Living low-tox, or reducing your exposure to toxins in your environment, can have numerous benefits for both your health and the environment. It’s about making mindful choices that prioritize your health, the well-being of your loved ones, and the planet. It’s a holistic approach to living that considers the interconnectedness of personal and environmental health.

But where do you begin?

The Forum Health coaches have got you covered! They’ve compiled their favorite products that are lower in toxins than the conventional or average items on the market. While there are a handful of low-tox options out there, many don’t perform well. Our coaches have vetted hundreds of products, and these are the ones they personally use.

It is important to do your due diligence to find a product that you feel comfortable using. Use resources like the Environmental Working Group to understand what ingredients are in specific products and the impact they can have on your health. Manufacturers also change ingredients in products, so remember to review products occasionally to make sure there have not been any additions you are not comfortable with. In addition to these changes, just because one product by a company is low-tox does not mean all products are safe.
