Functional Medicine Nutritionist / Lifestyle Educator
Chelsea’s passion lies in helping people become their best and healthiest selves. Through her own health journey, she refuses to believe that “normal” test results from patients with chronic symptoms provides proof that nothing is wrong with their health.
Chelsea graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelors in Kinesiology. She used this as a way to help clients achieve their fitness goals. As she trained her clients, she realized she could not fully help them without nutrition. This led her to begin working at a holistic supplement store to learn about functional medicine and supplementation from physician-grade supplement companies. During that time, she learned about the Masters in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine program at the University of Western States, where she is currently earning her masters degree.
Chelsea is excited to teach about how nutrition can heal by using the functional medicine approach. She believes it is important to have a healthy relationship with food, so clients want to nourish and not restrict their bodies. She has experience in sports nutrition for performance and weight loss, irritable bowel syndrome, Candida, and food sensitivities.
Outside of work, Chelsea loves barrel racing, powerlifting, and taking care of the family farm with her husband.
