Lox Sans Bagel

Serves 1, Low Carb, Raw Fish

  • Lox fillet (thinly sliced)(4-6 oz)
  • Arugula (1 cup)
  • 1⁄2 Red onion (or scallions)
  • 1 Lemon (optional)
  • 1 Gluten free bagel (sliced)(optional)

Toast gluten free bagel slices until they reach the desired temperature and crispiness. Place arugula on a small plate, then add bagel slices. Add lox fillet slices to bagel. Thinly slice red onion/scallions, or dice if preferred, then add to the bagel. Top with capers, a pinch of salt, and a squeeze of lemon juice (optional).
