Dr Quinn and his team are phenomenal! Always providing a consistent team of support, solutions and care for their patients! I always feel encouraged and motivated when I leave. Thanks to Dr. Quinn and his staff, I have been able to take off 45 lbs. which puts me 15 lbs from my goal. The program that Dr. Quinn does has helped me keep focused and stay on track. It has helped me to say no to food that sabotages my weight loss by helping me feel full and satisfied. However, there is no “magic” pill or shot. You still have to do your part. You have to make good food choices and do some activity. I’ve tried a lot of things to lose weight. I get junk mail from every new weight loss thing that comes out; I’m on the list. Just wanted to post a quick shoutout to Dr. Quinn, Jenna and all the staff. I’ve been a patient of the clinic for over ten years and when I need help meeting my fitness goals I do count on their guidance, their products and trust them. Diet pointers, workout pointers or even just checking in and getting the mental boost all helps when you’re struggling. And during this pandemic I’ve had the opportunity to see both Dr. Quinn and Jenna (by appointment) to talk about non-physical fitness concerns and I’m so appreciative of the supplements suggested and therapeutic discussion we had. Everything has helped during this time. They all deserve a pat on the back for being here for me and hopefully others.

I’m a 40 year old mother of two who came to the realization that if I didn’t do something about my weight, my body would not be kind to me for the next 40 years. I am 5’4” and my weight had gotten up to 213lbs due to my focus being on the welfare of my family instead of myself. I have always loved food and have been abusing it for years using it for comfort instead of nourishment. It had finally caught up with me. I got online and found Dr. Quinn’s website. I decided that it was time to focus a little of attention on myself for a change and they were running a sale on the first consultation, so I took a chance. I rarely spend money on myself but if this worked, I believed it would make me a better Mom and Wife because I knew I would feel better if I was in less pain.
Dr. Quinn was confident that if I stuck to his plan, I could lose the weight I wanted to. Being the cautious person I am I started doing it month to month. For the first time in years the number on the scale was going down instead of up. It was such a surreal feeling for me. As time went on and I followed what he said, as best I could. (I want to mention that a key factor to this working for me was to not let myself stress about it. Whenever I started to tense up, I felt my body wanted to hold on to the weight. I had to psychologically give myself permission to succeed at this, and let the weight go.) The number on the scale kept going down, then I tried on some of the clothes I was “saving” for when they would fit again. Guess what, they fit!! It is such a wonderful feeling to be able to look better and feel better. I am down almost 30 lbs and although I have more to lose, I am confident that with the help of Dr. Quinn and his staff, I’ll get there.
My advice to the Mom who doesn’t spend time or money on herself: Do this. Do it for yourself. You’ve heard of the analogy of putting the oxygen mask on yourself before you can help others on the plane. This is your oxygen mask. It’s going to take some effort but after a little practice with changing your habits, it’s really not that hard, I promise. It’s ok to care about your appearance and wellbeing as well as your family.
I want to thank Dr. Quinn and his staff, especially Megan and Erica at the Novi location. The staff is there for your weigh in and to help hold you accountable. This to me is essential to this working. Yes, I had to make time to visit the office twice a week for 10 minutes or less and sometimes I had to bring my kids with me. Megan, Erica, and the rest of the staff are always so nice and encouraging about how you are doing progress wise. The staff is great for questions and advice for things you are trying.
I highly recommend this program to anyone who wants to lose weight without surgery and just can’t do it on their own. Do this one thing for yourself; you won’t be sorry you did.
